Buxtons produce 55 million bottles of water per year; each bottle
takes 1000 years to biodegrade. We have created a Buxtons
Vending machine to dispense water using reusable cups at less
expense than bottled water. The hand cranked machine uses
minimal electricity to chill the water.
As part of a ‘carry-a-cup’ campaign, Buxtons would send reusable,
collapsible cups to all London postal codes. As well as helping the
environment, the re-usable cups reduce production costs. London
Underground customers benefit with easy access to water, essential
in the hot summer months.
